- Broiler Behavior Recognition (2024 – Dec 2025): A spatiotemporal video encoder with metadata fusion (X3D 3D-CNN + YOLO tracking) for automated broiler-chicken behavior recognition. Published in Computers and Electronics in Agriculture. Paper (DOI) Code
- DeckTection (Spring 2025): Trading-card identification pipeline (YOLOv12 → SAM2 → Siamese network). YOLOv12 fine-tuned to 99.49% mAP50; ResNet-18 Siamese network at 95% one-shot accuracy across 4,000 cards. Code (team repo)
- Whisper Inference Optimization (Spring 2025): INT8 quantization of the Whisper encoder (−70% size, no material word-accuracy loss on LibriSpeech) plus Winograd convolution for 1D layers, 60% compression for mobile deployment. Code (team repo)
- Cinema E-Booking Platform (Fall 2024): Full-stack movie booking system built with React, Django, and SQL; led Agile sprints for a 5-engineer team. Code
- Evaluating LLMs as Translators (Fall 2025): Korean→English machine-translation study benchmarking 15 systems (commercial MT, frontier LLMs, and local open-weight models) with COMET, BLEU, chrF2, and TER against a published human translation. Code & results
- Quant Research Harness (Jun – Sep 2026): A point-in-time equities research system with walk-forward backtests, NLP sentiment signals scored on a local GPU, and a weekly paper-trading rebalance. Code
- Homelab (Dec 2020 – present): Self-hosted media, personal cloud, and local AI on my own hardware, with custom MCP servers that let an AI assistant operate all of it. Code
- BiteButler (Feb 2023): Hackathon app that picks where to eat by swiping on nearby restaurants, Tinder-style. Code
